A Message from the Director
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Elim Community Services envisions a community that is cared for and enriched with hope and purpose. We aim to realise this vision through providing holistic and inclusive programmes that foster bonds and enhance the community’s well-being.
Our ECS Empowerment Programme has been a game-changer in our mission to journey through life together with seniors. Its activities, designed to care for the community and provide hope and purpose for their being, have significantly improved the lives of our beneficiaries, making a tangible difference in their well-being.
In 2023, our volunteers have worked tirelessly to reach more socially isolated seniors in the community, particularly on weekdays. Their efforts have encouraged many more seniors to join our activities and engage with one another. As a result, more friendships have developed, and their socio-emotional needs are better fulfilled.
As we endeavour in our activities, the beneficiaries see our love and the purpose of our work. This has inspired many to join us as volunteers to help the community and exemplified our motto, Empowering Lives, Inspiring Multitudes. By inspiring individuals through our work, we believe they will be empowered and realise they can make valuable contributions to the community.
We owe our success to the unwavering support of our donors, volunteers, and partners. Your belief in our mission has been our guiding light during challenging times, and your generosity has made our plans and activities a reality. We are deeply grateful for your support and standing by us in our mission to make a difference.
As we look ahead, we are excited about the opportunities to enhance our Empowerment Programme and extend our reach. We remain dedicated to advocating for the needs of seniors and ensuring they receive the care and respect they deserve. I am optimistic that we can continue to bring hope, comfort, and happiness to our beloved seniors and community.
